Cannon Safe & GunVault Give Back To America’s Armed Forces

Did you know that June is National Safety Month? Injuries are a leading cause of disability for people of all ages, and the leading cause of death in Americans aged 1 to 44. You can make a difference by spreading the word about ways to reduce the risk of injuries in the workplace and how to stay safe.

Cannon Safe & GunVault are participating in this year’s Patriot Tour to Honor America’s Armed Forces with the Nation of Patriots. The 100 day tour, which began over Memorial Day weekend, carries one American flag throughout 48 states as each rider raises money for each mile they ride.

The Patriot Tour “represents [what] our brave men and women in the military have stood and died defending, continue to stand and protect, and will forever fight for”. With 100% of the proceeds going to our Armed Forces, Cannon Safe & GunVault are aiming to raise $1,000 for the local Las Vegas chapter. After picking up the flag in Arizona, we will ride to Nellis AFB where the flag will be flown on a F-22, then on to California where we will transfer it to the next riders and participants of the Patriot Tour.

Since The Patriot Tour began over five years ago, it has united the country and aided past, present and fallen Armed Forces. Last year alone, $87,000 was raised throughout the nation with a significant $34,000 coming from our Las Vegas community, helping 15 wounded veterans and their families. We hope to meet and potentially even beat last year’s amount on both a national and local level so that we can give back to those who have risked and continue to risk their lives for our freedom.

Our Cannon Safe family and GunVault team seek to meet our goal by placing GunVault items on sale and donating 10% of each item purchased from between June 19th through July 19th, 2015 to the Patriot Tour. Donations can be made in honor of veterans by donating at Nation of Patriotswhen making a donation please mention the veteran’s name and Team Cannon Safe/Las Vegas/Southern Nevada Veterans. Our first donation is from our company president, Steve Hoffa, In Memory of Mike Grahek, $100.00.

Anyone who wants to be involved with the Patriot Tour is encouraged to visit www.nationofpatriots.comwhere you can see pictures from the tour, find out where the flag currently is, and learn more about the Nation of Patriots and the tour.
