Easily fits in my desk drawer either way, I like the keypad facing me so it reads my combo easily.
I store my passport, birth certificate, iPad, iPod in it.
I wish i sprung up more when I opened it and I wish it came in more colors than just black. I am happy it came with a backup override key, two actually.

We had a fire at the house and my hard drives and gun was in my drawer vault from Gun Vault. Both items still worked after the fire, I would say it is worth every penny we spent on this. We got a new one for free too because of their new warranty. Thank you Gun Vault!

I bought this unit to replace a failing and very undependable bedside drawer safe for my carry weapons. (it was a biometric unit and failed more often than worked- totally unacceptable). I need room for 2 weapons and their IWB holsters and this fit the bill perfectly. I've had in service for a couple of months and it has never failed once!
